This western red cedar smudge stick bundle is hand-made with Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata), grown in my garden in Olympia, Washington. Western Red Cedar is noted for its purifying features. Smudging is a blessing ritual used for many purposes. Light the smudge stick, then blow across the stick to keep it glowing. Once the stick is smoking, pass the bundle over whatever needs cleansing or pass the item through the smoke. The smudge stick can also be used like incense.
