Review Abstract Obelisk Relic Lava Finish Fountain:Henri Studios has been making fountains for over 40 years. It all began when Tuscan sculptor Eneri Prosperi came to America and began combining traditional sculpting techniques with stone casting technology. Cast stone is special blend of cement with coarse and fine minerals, color pigments, and water. It is a highly dense, simulated stone with a texture similar to limestone. The specially made finishes convey vivid natural stone highlights and subtle organic tones. The size and weight of this fountain may require freight shipping. Please note that upon purchase of a fountain in a relic finish an approval of a color sample, sent directly to you, must first be completed. Once the finish color sample is approved, and sent back to Henri Studios, the order can be fully placed. Each fountain is made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks of extra time for delivery. The finest quality gemstone globe is made from semi-precious stones from all over the world. Oceans made of blue lapis lazuli surround a mosaic of landmasses in turquoise, malachite, red coral, jade, mother-of-pearl, and amethyst, among others. This gemstone globe is handmade and takes approximately 4-8 weeks to produce. All globes are made using the same procedure regardless of the size of the globe. Semi-precious stones are selected from countries around the world and where possible depict the country of origin. The globe is then buffed and polished to form a smooth surface before the meridian and date lines are added with a fine gold or silver thread. The names of the countries and geographical features are then added and the globe is sealed in a protective resin coating. To clean, use a soft cloth with a small amount of rubbing alcohol to shine and remove fingerprints. Do not use rubbing alcohol on metal base or stand; it's too harsh.
