Sewn in pure polyester with a 100-percent cotton lining, the valance is an ornate satiny metallic gold color that is embroidered with a complicated floral brocade design in hues of ochre, burnt orange, peach, and bark brown. A 6-inch-tall border in a jacquard print of corresponding hues runs along the bottom of the valance while a thin strip of braided trim defines a boundary between the two fabrics.
